Second Random Doubles Event Draws Biggest Crowd Ever!
No rain for the second Random Doubles event in Kinston, but we did have 18 players show up for the competition. First place went to Joey Hughes and Jeb, with a 53 for the round. There was a tie for second place between Devin and Sean and Fred and Joe. It was decided by a "closest-to-the-water-bottle" throw in the picnic shelter, since it was too dark to play on the course by that point. Second place went to Sean and Devin. Rob B. took home the watermelon for CPT during the round.
Thanks to everyone who played today and made our second club event a success. We hope you had a great time and look forward to seeing you next week. Please mark your calendar and try again next week, July 27th! For the rest of the season, we will flip a coin before starting to determine whether we're throwing from the long or short tees.

Thanks to everyone who played today and made our first club event a success. We had players from Wilmington to Greenville and several points in between. We hope you had a great time and look forward to seeing you next week. If the rain scared you off, please mark your calendar and try again next week, July 20th!
